Berg
Hello,
My name is Lee Berg. I started Berg Development in 1996 as a subchapter S corporation to provide quality software development services for organizations engaged in scientific and engineering work. Since then, I've also done work for a variety of clients in other fields as well.
My experience in technical management provides me with a level of enthusiasm and business focus not found in most software developers, contract or permanent. Everyone I've worked with can vouch for my technical capabilities, enthusiasm, and tenacity to stick with a project through its completion. Most importantly, I understand that the driving force behind any software development project is the need to solve real world business problems. More than simply meeting the requirements, this means producing a well planned, maintainable product on time and under budget.
I get along well with everyone on a project and I have a talent for extracting the essence of a product's requirements from the end user. I often bridge the gap between non-technical personnel and Engineering staff.
Although I work well with others, I also do well with small, one-person projects. If I don't already have them, I'm always willing to purchase and/or license the right tools to get the job done. I also have the discipline needed to stay focused whether I'm working on site or from my own facility.
In addition to contractually exonerating my clients from any tax and Social Security liabilities, I employ a tax accountant and payroll service to ensure that all parties (e.g., federal and state tax agencies) are paid correctly and on time. I use state of the art accounting software to track all business activity and provide formalized weekly status reports and time sheets, summarizing each day's activities.
I can't recall any project or aspect of software development from which I haven't derived enjoyment. I truly believe that software is the most amazing invention ever and the process of building information machines continues to intrigue and fascinate me to this day. My enthusiasm for technology can only benefit you, the client.
Allow me to demonstrate this enthusiasm with your next project. I'm even willing to take a short term trial project so you can see firsthand how your team will benefit from my services.
Thank you for your time. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
